Troubleshooting

I've purchased a Pyxus HD or Pyxus HD Move simulator and cannot get the camera to work (Mac and Windows users)

Fix a non-working camera on your Pyxus HD or Pyxus HD Move using your computer's built-in camera app (Windows or Mac).

If your camera isn't working, you don't need to download any software — your computer's own built-in camera app will work with the simulator's USB camera.

Windows 8/10

Navigate to the Start menu and type "camera". Click the camera icon or symbol. At this stage your computer's default camera may open up — if it does, look for the camera-switch icon and click it to change the default camera to the simulator camera. Once completed you can now begin to operate.

Mac OS X

Click the search icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen and type "Quick Time". Click the QuickTime icon. Once ready, the QuickTime options should appear in the top left-hand corner of the desktop. Click File > New Movie Recording. At this stage the computer's default camera may appear on screen — to swap the camera view to the simulator camera, navigate to the record button, click the down arrow to the right of the button, and select "USB 2.0 Camera". Once completed you can now begin to operate.
